Definitely wasn't always easy, especially in the case of motivation, and I'm sure there are still some bugs out there I didn't catch with a game so large. I'm so happy with the way it turned out though and I'm incredibly grateful that I had the ability to create it!

It's March 14th, and you know what that means! God's Disdain is OUT NOW!! Huzzah! If you like the old-school nature of SNES RPGs like Dragon Quest as well as the worlds of games like The Elder Scrolls, this is the game for you!

God's Disdain is a non-linear, turn-based JRPG about a world stricken by a mysterious plague. As Tamiko, alongside her brother Kenshin and other friends you find along the way, you must find a way to stop the plague for good and either save Hajimari or damn it. There are tons of side quests, dungeons, and unique locations to check out as well as plenty of gear and magic! The world is totally open for you to explore... what will you find?

Many people have contributed to this game over the course of the last near-decade, and we would all appreciate you trying it out! God's Disdain is free to play with an optional Supporter Pack if you like the game. There is no DRM and all the game files are completely accessible if you would like to mess around with it! I forgot to post last weekend's #ScreenshotSaturday so you get it today! The featured #yokai this time is wanyūdō, a fiery head within a flying wheel. Here he spins around the edges of the screen and shoots fireballs at the player. Leap around the swirling tempest and knock him out!
