I attended a user group in person recently. It was awesome. Blender is simply excellent software for its people, the glue and fabric of the product. There are a lot of them and many of them are top notch in other fields, but all help in making that #fossome software we all love and some hate and some love to hate but use it anyways....
#blender3d was my foray into making abstractions of line art and lead to some of my recent artistic ventures indirectly.
SeaBUG is well run and I love it dearly. (STILL!!!!)
