Yes the stars shift around from day to day. The point is you should not be able to see any of the same "fixed" stars 6 months apart, yet we do.
@akeno Also constellations are not possible in the globe model. Everything is moving around constantly, you should not see the same pattern each night let alone for hundreds of years.
