Would the left side print faster? (Assume that both discs in the photo below are the same diameter and height.) My assumption is that it would. The print head could accelerate during the chunky segments but the right side would be constantly changing directions, so no acceleration.If it would be measurably faster, I'm not sure. I need to do some testing, but it's interesting to go against years of optimization in the other direction.
