I like long walks on the beach and cuddling by a fire. Wait... this isn't that kind of introduction, is it?
Libertarian (small l) from MI, checking in. I've been on Mastodon for a year now and even ran my own instance, muhroads.party (defunct). I'm here to help balance out the extreme leftist lean that the fediverse seems to have.
I've been blissfully unaware of the ammo shortage all of this has caused. I've been sitting on a nice ammo cache, but now that the girlfriend got a gun, I'm seeing just how destitute it is out there especially for 9mm. #2A
Getting IP addresses off blacklists is awfully annoying. Using mxtoolbox.com, I'm down to 3 blacklists from their database of lists. One should drop off tomorrow (UCEPROTECT-Level 1), and I'll try to whitelist the IP to take care of the second (UCEPROTECT-Level 2), and I have a ticket out for the 3rd (SORBS).
Like wind turbine syndrome, I think many of the adverse physical reactions people are having to wearing masks is just psychologically-based. The science is if you just switch out disposable masks or wash reusable masks on a consistent basis, you're not going to get sick.
The same reasons why masks don't help you if you're not sick is the same reason why you're not going to lack oxygen.

Liberdon is a Mastodon instance for libertarians, ancaps, anarchists, voluntaryists, agorists, etc to sound off without fear of reprisal from jack or zuck. It was created in the wake of the Great Twitter Cullings of 2018, when a number of prominent libertarian accounts were suspended or banned.
