The room is packed! The people of New Hampshire have shown up to support our reps efforts to put forth a vote for New Hampshire independence by way of proper legal channels: A constitutional amendment. Many aren't aware that our NH constitution predates the United States and if it can authorize partaking it can take it away. However independence is the right of the people and any argument against independence is hypocritical given that the US independence from Great Britain was illegal.

Let's put that as a syllogism:
US Independence from Great Britain was illegal.
X is an argument against NH independence.
Ergo: X is hypocritical.

I don't even know what fallacy to call that, other than the catchall non sequitur.

Liberdon is a Mastodon instance for libertarians, ancaps, anarchists, voluntaryists, agorists, etc to sound off without fear of reprisal from jack or zuck. It was created in the wake of the Great Twitter Cullings of 2018, when a number of prominent libertarian accounts were suspended or banned.
