Privacy and security are not the same thing.
If you walk into a bank with security cameras and guards you have security but no privacy.

It's possible to have one without the other.

The only way to combat global mass surveillance is to take responsibility for your own privacy and security.
If you trust your security to others, you will have no privacy. And if you don't protect your privacy, you are at the mercy of those who wish to spy on and control you.

People need to take control of both their privacy and security and use them together to combat surveillance.
Stop using proprietary software and platforms.
Take full responsibility and control of your own privacy and security by using Linux, FOSS, and decentralized platforms. Move from centralized sites to the Fediverse.

Liberdon is a Mastodon instance for libertarians, ancaps, anarchists, voluntaryists, agorists, etc to sound off without fear of reprisal from jack or zuck. It was created in the wake of the Great Twitter Cullings of 2018, when a number of prominent libertarian accounts were suspended or banned.
